    The Somers Point School District believes integrating technology into classroom instruction is essential to developing 21st century skills.  Effective technology integration must happen across the curriculum in ways that research shows deepen and enhance the learning process.  Technology must support key components of learning: active engagement, problem solving, authentic products, assessment, and global connections. Digital Citizenship is also a major component in developing 21st century learners. Effective technology integration is achieved when the use of technology is routine and transparent and when technology supports curricular goals.
